          Yulene Olaizola, born , is a Mexican director from Mexico City, Mexico. She studied in the film school of, El Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica (CCC), and graduated in receiving Summa Cum Laude for her film Thesis Intimidades de Shakespeare y Víctor Hugo( Shakespeare and Victor Hugo's intimacies).

          Intimidades de Shakespeare y Víctor Hugo has received more than &#;28 international film awards, and is her most notable work.[1],although she has gone to make, and work on many other well received films in the international and feature film world such as Paraísos Artificiales (Artificial Paradises)[2].

          Epitafio, written and directed by Rubén Imaz and Yulene Olaizola, is the story of part of this expedition.
